What gets corrected
Wrong figures, wrong model names, wrong prices, misquoted warranty terms, broken or mis-aimed links, and any sentence that leaves a materially false impression. Headings and summaries are corrected on the same basis as body text.
How a correction appears
A material correction adds a visible note to the review explaining what was wrong and what is now right. We do not quietly edit a claim out of existence, because the reader who acted on the original deserves to see what changed. Typos and formatting fixes are made without a note.
When a score changes
A score changes when the underlying facts change: a corrected specification, a revised warranty, a firmware update that fixes the thing we complained about, or a price move large enough to alter the value judgement. The review records the old score, the new score and the reason.
Requests to unpublish
We prefer correcting to deleting. A review is removed only where it is unlawful, where it describes a product that no longer exists in any form and cannot be responsibly updated, or where leaving it up would create a genuine safety risk.
